MINIPLANE TOP 80.

A purpose designed paramotor engine from Italy. The TOP 80 provides a lighter weight solution than the Solo 210 with similar power and improved economy. Again the engines main construction is aluminium. The latest versions feature a "Nicosil" lined barrel for improved performance and resistance to seizing. A purpose built membrane style carburettor fitted with an induction noise muffler provides sweet throttling and excellent fuel economy. The latest versions as supplied by us have a custom tuned exhaust system which is more reliable, provides improved throttle response and has a more effective muffler. The reduction drive is by enclosed helical gears which run in an oil bath which also seperatelyhouses a centrifugal clutch enabling the engine to tickover without the propellor turning.
